Danny Flynn has been illustrating the covers of Science Fiction and Fantasy novels for many decades.
Danny is currently working hard on his own venture - MoonAliens - busy creating hundreds of the universe's misfits and oddballs who live in a secret "world" deep inside the moon!
After completing an Arts Foundation course, Danny spent his late teens driving overhead cranes in a steelworks in his birth town of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. He then moved to London to do an Illustration/Graphic Design BA Degree at Kingston University, Surrey.
To date, Danny has illustrated the covers to many hundreds of novels - for some of the best-known Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror authors - a list that includes Arthur C Clarke, Frederik Pohl, Isaac Asimov, Greg Bear, Graham Masterton, Charles Sheffield, Robert Heinlein, Jack McDevitt, Richard Laymon, Octavia Butler, Olaf Stapledon, Brian Stableford, Shaun Hutson, T M Wright, C J Cherryh, Tanith Lee and George R R Martin .
Sir Arthur C Clarke, author of the classic "2001 A Space Odyssey" rated Danny amongst the top five Fantasy Artists in the World, and also wrote the foreword to Danny's compendium book of paintings "Only Visiting This Planet - The Art of Danny Flynn" published by Paper Tiger 1994.
Danny has also worked in the Computer Games Industry, providing original Concept Art for projects with EA Games, Frontier, Ubisoft and Traveller's Tales ("Twinsanity - Crash Bandicoot").
Danny continues to pursue his long-term objective - to bring the moon to life with his own unique brand of collectible characters, stories and music.
