Owning a limited edition print is the next best thing to owning an original painting. If an artist has a run of only a hundred prints, then you will own a numbered and signed print, making it a wise investment if the artist is well known, or when the artist becomes famous.

The quality of a giclée limited edition print is very sharp and clear - an almost exact reproduction of the original painting; often indistinguishable from the actual painting. The word giclée means fine spray, derived from the French verb gicler "to squirt".

The prints will be sent to you in a strong cardboard tube; which may come in useful for fending off those small yappy dogs that try to take chunks out of your ankles.

Below are a few examples of what a limited print looks like in a white IKEA frame.
